Opening ceremony new track

50 years in a nutshell

 A brandnew track, 50 years of clubhistory, the 45th edition of the Flanders Grand Prix and the upcoming world championships in 2013... plenty of reasons for a celebration in Zandvoorde. With speeches of Marc Decraemer (president ZRC), Jean Vandecasteele (Mayor City of Ostend) and Dr Roberto Marotta (president CIC) we openend the track officialy. A presentation of suits and other outfits that have been used in the last 50 years, a demonstration relay by Zwaantjes themselves and a ballooncontet for the youngsters. Of course, as the tradition is in Belgium, we closed the splendid evening with a local beer. Let the Flanders Grand Prix begin now !
