Time flies when having fun on day 2

As the saying goes, after rain comes sunshine. Right on time skies cleared up and with help of many volunteers we managed to get the track dry so we could start the series of the 500m+D with only 20 minutes of delay.

Heats, quarter and semi finals passed by at a high pace until the gladiators that qualified for the final were announced. Great atmosphere for the finals of this spectacular discipline, check out the videos of the finals on Speedskate.TV

There were points races for Cadets & Youth. We closed the day with an elimination race for the Junior Men and inline races for Junior ladies and senior categories.

Tomorrow the peloton moves through the village for the road races where we expect 110 ladies & 120 men at the start for 16 and 30 km respectively. Looking forward to welcome you there as of 9 AM at the finish line next to the church.
