Gaiser and Matreiros winning 51st edition of FGP

Flanders Grand Prix

Larisa Gaiser in the senior ladies category

It's been a loaded three days of competition in Zandvoorde this weekend. Sandrine Tas dominated the women's field, but didn't participate in the road race on Sunday morning. This of course in perspective of the European Championships in the next days. Larisa Gaiser had a steady tournament and is the deserved overall winner of this FGP. Young mother Sabine Berg finished 2nd and is ready for another EC as well. Marie Dupuy (EO Skates) took the bronze.

Diogo Marreiros another nice name on the list

With Peter Michael, Patxi Puela and Diogo Marreiros, we had a nice infernal trio to take the win. They all have plenty of expertise and for Puela en Marreiros it was an excellent dry run for next week. The Portuguese leader had several wins on Saturday and the road race, so a second place in the final elimination race was enough to consolidate the overall classification. Puela 2nd and Peter Michael gives a nice podium.

See you all next week during the EC. You can find all info on the dedicated FB page or our website.
