The jovial Portuguese Diogo Marreiros has been chosen as Most Valuable Skater of the 51st edition of FGP. This decision was unanimously taken after a strong performance during the last 3 days. He has shown already his tremendous shape during the worlds in Heerde last month and is ambitious for the European championships next week. If you can win the 1000m, 10K points and a road race of 30K, then you are at least polyvalent and a likely candidate for medals at E.C.

He received the trophy of MVS from the mayor of Oostende Mr Johan Vandelanotte.
