Tas even strongest on the road

Sandrine Tas wins bunch sprint

It was early days for juniors and seniors ladies ... At 09:00 they were already in the bin for a 16km road race through the streets of Zandvoorde. The peloton stayed together most of the time, followed by some tentative attempts by Bianca Roosenboom, Sandrine Tas and her teammate Stien Vanhoutte. The peloton - with some strong juniors as Anna Van den Bosch - did not let this happen, however, so a bunch sprint was in the making. Sandrine Tas had just a little more gravy than Bianca Roosenboom and the German Mareike Thum. This trio on stage will probably be of the podium of the overall classification, though there is still a 10km Elimination on the menu
